After living and working in Wanaka for 7 years there were certain things I missed about living in Sydney and dumplings and Sunday Yum Cha was a big one. There is something so delicious about a tasty dumpling, the chewy wrapper enclosing the juicy and flavoursome fillings, the hit of chilli sauce, the garlic chives and Chinese broccoli with ginger soy sauce. In cahoots with Nicky from Café Gusto we have been running a pop up restaurant every fortnight to month or so, the café is always fully booked so I know I am not alone in my love of dumplings.
